FAQ

WHAT IS "GOLD FILL" vs. "GOLD PLATED" JEWELRY?

We work with GOLD FILL in addition to SOLID GOLD.

“GOLD FILL” jewelry is the second most valuable type of precious metal jewelry next to solid gold, and is also most equivalent in durability as solid gold. It is composed of solid 14k gold that is permanently bonded/fused to a base metal (brass).

VS.

“GOLD PLATED” jewelry is a different process where a VERY MINIMAL layer of gold is coated on top of a base metal such as brass. Typically this is a very thin “flash” coating (0.5 - 1 micron) of gold that wears off within 1 to 3 months of normal wear.

CARE FOR MY JEWELRY

FEEL FREE TO WORKOUT & SHOWER IN YOUR JEWELS.

Your piece was created to last, but to maintain the shimmery luster on your gold fill pieces, It is best to remove your jewelry before you swim in the sea or chlorine.

Just rinse with water if you accidentally forget to remove before a dip, and always rinse after a workout.

If you purchased solid 14k gold pieces, these are solid gold & will never tarnish, so feel free to swim the seas + swan dive the pools :)

HOW DO I CLEAN MY JEWELRY?

NEVER USE A JEWELRY CLEANING SOLUTION, IT CAN HARM THE GOLD

After a workout or if you accidntally take a dip in the sea/pool in your gold fill pieces, just rinse under fresh water with a gentle hand soap, then pat dry with a cloth or paper towel :)
